Data Stewardship
The IG Data Stewardship network brings together data stewards in Schleswig-Holstein to exchange ideas on FAIR data management. Learning, sharing, networking – together we strengthen the sustainable handling of research data.
The IG Data Stewardship brings together data stewards and other stakeholders associated with this role from universities and research institutions in Schleswig-Holstein. The focus of our discussions is on the sustainable, FAIR and efficient use of research data. We also present our respective roles to one another and learn from each other how data stewards can best support the scientific community in the sustainable management of data. We also discuss the various roles, areas of responsibility and terminology within the context of data stewardship, e.g. data manager, data expert, data steward, etc. The Data Steward Interest Group welcomes anyone looking for a platform to present themselves, network and find inspiration for their own role and work.
