The “Sharing is caring” workshop focuses on open and sustainable teaching and learning materials in research data management. The workshop was developed as part of the FDM.SH project bOERse and will be led by Swantje Piotrowski and Linda Zollitsch.

Following an introduction to the basics of Open Educational Resources (OER), FAIR principles and open licences, participants will further develop existing materials or those they have created themselves and prepare them for reuse.
The workshop provides practical knowledge on open formats, the Criteria Catalogue v2 and the use of LiaScript and Markdown for creating interactive learning resources. In a subsequent practical session, FAIR OER materials will be produced that can be reused and adapted by the FDM community.
The event is aimed at FDM multipliers, lecturers, researchers and anyone interested in open education and research data management.
