The universities and research institutions in Schleswig-Holstein have joined forces to establish the State Initiative for Research Data Management (FDM-SH). The aim is to promote cooperative solutions, impart expertise and create joint structures for handling research data. The current ‘Reach-Out’ phase offers a valuable opportunity to work with the FDM-SH community to develop concepts and strategies for successfully acquiring third-party funding for co-operative RDM solutions.

The aim of the workshop is to develop practical approaches that make it possible to identify and secure sustainable sources of funding for joint research data management solutions. Together with Dr Jan Rohden from the German Research Foundation (DFG), the funding programme ‘Information Infrastructures for Research Data’ will be presented and then the participants will work on ideas and aspects for potential project proposals. The focus will be on developing cross-institutional solutions for Schleswig-Holstein.

We invite all speakers of the IGs and WGs of FDM-SH as well as other members of the community who would like to actively participate in the development of project ideas and applications.

Please register by 30 April 2025 via the following e-mail address: info@fdm-sh.de
